Let's focus on a few aspects of what Mick said.
1. " ... greater exposure ... ". Unquestionably. Millions of homes tune into what has become one of AXS TV's highest rated shows.
2. The "tribute fraternity". Again, unless you've never attended a show and hung with "the brethren", then you wouldn't understand just how much we pull for one another. Mick uses the word "support". Precisely.
3. Even greater exposure through the recorded media. We had the distinct honor to record three Stones tunes with one of the best engineers in the business. Our rendition of "Gimme Shelter", so close to the original in sound and composition, climbed to the top spot in iTunes sales for them. We're grateful, alright! The other two, "Start Me Up" and "Brown Sugar" landed in the top 10 as well.
All those who were interviewed came across with the same themes. Camaraderie, increased exposure, intense energy, grateful attitudes, the works. It has been nothing but one of the finest experiences that anyone can have at any time in the tribute industry. Thank you Katie Daryl, Mark Cuban, Ryan Seacrest and AXS TV!! Long live "The World's Greatest Tribute Bands"!
